How Our Monthly Giveaway Works

Updated August 2026 4 min read

Every month, we give away a real prize: no purchase necessary to enter, and one winner drawn from a single combined pool. Here's how it actually works, and why we run it.

One Winner, Every Month

Each giveaway draws one winner from a single combined pool. Following, liking, commenting, or tagging a friend on our giveaway post earns free entries; booking a shoot, an individual add-on service, or referring a friend who books earns bonus entries on top. Everyone is in the same drawing, and there's always a completely free way to enter: nobody has to spend money to be eligible.

Why We Run It

It's a straightforward way to say thanks to clients who book with us, and it keeps our Instagram community active without asking for anything beyond a follow and a comment. Some months the prize leans toward something practical for a family, other months it's more tied to a season or event. The mechanics stay the same either way.

This Month's Prize

Since the prize rotates monthly, we keep the full details (the current item, exact entry counts by package, and the entry deadline) on one page that we update as the giveaway changes, rather than baking it into a blog post that goes stale.

No Purchase Necessary

The pool always includes at least one completely free method of entry, and free entries are weighted equally to any other entry. That's intentional: a giveaway that requires payment to enter can cross into lottery territory in a lot of states, and it's also just not something we'd want to run. The full official rules, including eligibility, notification method, and how a winner is selected, are posted on the current giveaway page.
