This Privacy Policy describes how Vuepoint Visuals ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by its owner doing business as Vuepoint Visuals, collects, uses, and protects information you provide when using our website at vuepointvisuals.com and any related services.

By using our site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Information We Collect

We collect information you voluntarily provide, including:

• Contact information: name, email address, phone number
• Property information: address, city, property type, square footage
• Booking details: package selection, requested dates, special instructions
• Application information: city/market, experience level, portfolio links, and a short bio (for job applicants via our Join Our Team page)
• Email address: when you sign up for early access to Vuepoint Academy or our Referral Program

We may also automatically collect standard web data such as your browser type, IP address, and referring URL through our hosting provider (Netlify), and analytics and advertising data through Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel. See Cookies & Tracking below for how to opt out.

Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal information under the following legal bases:

• Legitimate interests: for analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel), which run by default to help us understand site traffic and measure ad performance. You can opt out at any time; see Cookies & Tracking.
• Contract: to respond to booking inquiries, deliver services, and process job applications you submit to us.
• Legitimate interests: to maintain the security and basic functioning of our website, and to respond to general questions you send us.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to booking inquiries and confirm shoot details
• Deliver photography, video, and media services
• Review and respond to job applications
• Send you updates about Vuepoint Academy or Referral Program when you opt in
• Improve our website and services

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Email Communications

If you submit your email for early access to Vuepoint Academy or our Referral Program, we will contact you when those products or features launch. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email with "Unsubscribe" or by contacting us directly at hello@vuepointvisuals.com.

Third-Party Services

We use third-party service providers to support our website hosting, booking operations, digital commerce, and analytics. These providers may process data you submit in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not sell your information to any third party, and we limit data sharing to what is necessary to deliver our services.

We currently use:

• Google Analytics: to understand how visitors use our site (pages viewed, general location, device type). Google's Privacy Policy
• Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram): to measure the performance of our advertising and show relevant ads to people who have visited our site. This may include Meta's Advanced Matching feature, which uses information you voluntarily submit through our forms (such as your email address or phone number) to help match ad performance to real outcomes. This information is encrypted (hashed) before it is sent to Meta. Meta's Privacy Policy
• Netlify: our website host and form processor

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party providers. If you have questions about how your data is handled by any service you interact with through our site, contact us at hello@vuepointvisuals.com.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with applicable legal obligations. If you would like your information deleted, contact us at hello@vuepointvisuals.com and we will fulfill your request within a reasonable timeframe.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Request a portable copy of your information in a common format
• Object to, or request restriction of, certain processing
• Opt out at any time of analytics or advertising cookies, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before your opt-out
• Opt out of any marketing communications at any time

Cookies & Tracking

We use two kinds of cookies, and they're not treated the same way:

• Analytics and advertising: Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, used to understand site traffic and measure ad performance. These run by default. You can opt out at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of any page; opting out stops both tools on future visits.

Basic session behavior is also handled by our hosting provider, Netlify, for performance and security purposes.

You can also opt out of Google Analytics specifically using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and manage the ads you see from Meta through your Facebook Ad Preferences. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through their settings, including Tidio's.

International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and the third-party services we use (including Google Analytics, Meta, and Netlify) may process and store data on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where required, these providers maintain their own safeguards for international transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses. Photo & Video Subjects

People or pets may appear incidentally in the photos or video we capture during a shoot. The client booking the shoot is responsible for obtaining consent from anyone who appears in the media, as described in our Terms of Service. If you appear in media captured by Vuepoint Visuals and have a privacy concern, contact us at hello@vuepointvisuals.com.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
